Morgan M. Matson
Mr. Matson is of counsel to Barnett & Garcia. Admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1999, Mr. Matson obtained a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Trinity University and his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. In addition to representing creditors, Mr. Matson represents insurance carriers in various areas, including ordinary negligence, catastrophic wrongful death, personal injury, medical negligence, premises liability, and the Texas Tort Claims Act. He is also experienced in administrative review cases before professional licensing boards. In 2004,
Mr. Matson was awarded the 2004 Defense Counsel Star Award by the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon’s Nation Insurance Company. He is currently the Chair of the Development Committee for the Boysville Board of Directors, a board member for Christus Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital Foundation, President-Elect of the Downtown Optimist Club of San Antonio and a Texas Bar Foundation Life Member. In addition to Mr. Matson’s litigation practice, Mr. Matson oversees our expansion into San Antonio.
